The Night Before

We slept separating.

I thought originally I’d kick him out of the house that night, and be alone. But the more stress came from planning in covid, I thought this is one thing we don’t need to do. So we’ll stay in our house together, I’m waking up and doing my makeup and then I’m off to the venue for hair. He’s sleeping in and arriving later. I want the easiest morning for both of us.

Sleeping together as we do every other night.

H didn't want to see me until I walked down the aisle, so he slept at a hotel and I stayed at our place.

My fiance and I are staying together the night before our wedding, since we're doing a semi-destination wedding and we don't want to pay for multiple hotel rooms.

We are trying to figure this out too! FH doesn’t want to see me before the ceremony, but also says he wants to stay in the same room the night before, which means we would see eachother briefly that morning 🤦🏼‍♀️ We are having a destination wedding, so we are already staying in a hotel that whole week. Trying to decide if we will book an additional room for him the night before, or if we will stay together since they are doing an alligator airboat tour super early the next morning, so we’d only see eachother for about 30 mins. But then we’d likely have to book another room the day of the ceremony as well, so that the guys have somewhere to get ready that afternoon. Why are there so many decisions with weddings?! 😩

We stayed together mike we always do. We just got up early in the morning and had coffee and then he left for the day.

FH is staying at the house with his sister and her kids, and me and my MOH are staying at a Airbnb that’s 5 minutes from the venue

We rented a vacation home for us and the wedding party, and we’ll be sleeping together the night before since there’s one room for every couple. I’ll be up super early and kick him out of the master suite after we have a small breakfast so I can get ready. There’s a rec room downstairs with a pool table and kitchenette where the guys can get ready and hang out.

We are doing apart!

We're spending the entire week apart with no communication. I'm going to stay with my parents. This is somewhat of a religious thing, but I'm excited for that first moment we see each other! My friends did it and it was so emotional I can't imagine doing it any other way.
