She goes up to DHs step mom to tell her how much of a bitch my mom is and she says "oh really, I'm sorry you feel that way, Kim and I have become best friends through the wedding planning and are actually having a girls day after we take the kids to the airport" none of that was even true, they'd never met before, but I'm glad she stuck up for my mom and they are good friends now. Then MIL has the balls to talk shit to people she doesn't even know (hello it's a family wedding, if you don't know them they're my family..) and picks of all people my BIL who stops the conversation mid insult to say "excuse me bitch, that's my mother in law you're talking about, you need to stop or I'm telling your son what you're saying." Thankfully that stopped the shit talking, but not the drama. The bitch took a chair from the reception brought it to the ceremony area and sat there pouting by herself for the rest of the day. It took me until last week to finally kill the drama because she was still talking shit about my mom to my SIL and on Facebook. I had to tell her to her face "you were being a psycho bitch, my mom did nothing to you but keep you from seeing naked pictures of me like I asked her too, you're acting like a damn twelve year old still talking shit about my mom. Get over yourself or leave me alone until you can grow up"

It was to the point where DH almost told her to leave. You should not make your son want to kick you out of his own wedding..

Why didn't you wait to show the pictures to your DH? I would have waited for a nice quiet moment after the day or perhaps the day before. But you gave it to him at your mom's house? During the day when people were there? I am sorry, but I think you sparked that fire yourself.

I would have let her see them, it would have shut her up and put her in her place!

An HOUR late? I would have over-ruled FH's decision, sorry. There's no way I would let anyone, not even his mother cost me that much time and money.

@onawho I gave them to him before everyone started getting ready, it was basically just us and the BP there. I didn't even know his mom was there yet until I heard her yelling at my mom. ETA I gave them to him before because they were his present, we exchanged gifts before getting ready and both opened them in separate rooms.

I agree with @Onawho. Also your H should have stood up to her.

@staci he told her three different times to stop or she'd have to leave, I think she had it in her head that no matter what she did he wouldn't actually make her leave.

I dont know why she was invited. Although i'm sad my in-laws didn't attend, it's definitely for the best. Hopefully this is a nice reminder that crazy people won't stop being crazy for just a day. I hope the headache was worth having her at your wedding :/

mainly i dont have any fucking clue why H was accommodating her at all, that baffles my mind you'd wait an hour.

@e=mc2 it was up in the air the entire time weather she was coming or not but she swore she could grow up for a day. Yea, I immediately regretted the decision of letting H decide, but I was already ready so I couldn't go talk to him about it.
