The reality is sinking in...

I think it's exciting and it feels real. I haven't received any packages or done much planning. Just started and don't know what our next step is for planning our wedding day.

I felt that way as soon as RSVPs began coming in lol

@Amanda S. What do you have so far? At the least you should have a budget and venue. And dress! Some dresses take 9 months to come in.

We've started getting RSVPs and it's definitely starting to feel real! We're planning on getting our license this week and I think that'll probably be the biggest "holy crap we're getting married" moment for me lol

Yes. Each day I get a new RSVP in the mail and I have received two gifts so far. Shit is getting real.

Fellow September Bride! I hear you on this one...as soon as I hit the 180 Mark I was like woah! Just breathe. It will be amazing!

I was talking to FH yesterday saying, "Well we have a year and a half.. a little more. We're ok!" Then he reminded me we actually have a year and three months. That was a bit of a surprise.

We just filled out our application for a marriage license the other day and it hit hard when I had to write my name as it will be after marriage.

Just got our first RSVPs back yesterday, and I definitely feel that way!! It's actually happening.

For me I have days where it does feel real and then theres days it doesnt. I get super overwhelmed with things that need to be done and then theres days im kind of just like ehhh its not happening anytime soon.

I still have lots of time but I love the feeling when I get packages with decor or other items! So exciting

Ordering the cake made it feel very real. So far no panic attacks which is nice.

@Leah S My checklist says I'm overdue for a marriage license, but don't they expire within 2-3 months? I was wondering about that.

@MrsV2Be Look into your state, it varies. We live in KC, but are getting married in Iowa. In Iowa, the license is valid for six months.

Once my invites arrived and i got the envelopes back addressed by the calligrapher then it all became pretty real! Exciting!! Less than 4 months to go!
