The Wife Chop

I always said I wouldn't cut my hair after the wedding, because it took so long to grow it out. So, I waited until after our anniversary! Actually, it was just time to get it cut, and I feel so much better now that I did. It was way down past my shoulders, now it is right at them. So, who else...

I have really thin hair, and it always looked so gross long so I never grew it out. I've had a little shorter than shoulder length hair my whole life. But it started getting longer and FS actually said he really liked it (he never gives opinions like that) lol so I decided to grow it out. Its now longer than it ever has been.. And I actually like it. I want to grow it out at least until our wedding, so I can do a pretty hairstyle without extensions Smiley smile

    1. Current (gross picture)

    2. The usual length its been pretty much my whole life

    3. The shortest its ever been (and what I'm growing it out from! It took a while lol)

p.s. don't you LOVE the guy in the background of the last pic? Smiley winking

I'm sure mine will get chopped, but not because i'm of the wedding. I always grow mine out for about a year, only getting trims throughout the year. Then after the year I cut it. Usually it gets down to my lower back and then I cut it back up to right below my shoulders. I just cut it about 3 months ago so it will grow until the wedding and then i'm sure it will get chopped. It's my usual process so why change it.

I'm growing mine out to just above my shoulders so that it can be curled for the wedding day, but I'm considering finding a salon on our honeymoon! I HATE having my hair this long! I usually keep it in a short-cropped reverse bob. Can't wait to have my normal haircut back...

Grew out my hair for my wedding and put nice long extensions in for the big day. Once we got to Greece for the honeymoon my husband and I spent a very romantic 1/2 hour of ungluing them from my head and spreading them around the bathroom in our beautiful villa to dry! It was hilarious! I got pregnant about 6 months after our wedding and chopped it all off. It was so liberating!

The women in my family tend not to get hair cuts. It's almost taboo. I have had a total of 3 hair cuts (other than trims) in my entire life. Right now my hair is about a little past midway down my back. I'm not cutting it anytime soon.

I'm planning on cutting and dying my hair back to my natural color. I've been highlighting my hair for 12 years with the exception of a year I let it grow out so I'm ready to not be blonde anymore.

I've had a short bob pretty much my whole life. My hair is too thin - it looks stringy and gross long. But, I'm thinking about growing it to shoulder length for the wedding so I have the option of wearing it up.

Right before the wedding, I am getting it cut like the 1st pic, and it's going to be dyed Burgundy.

    .

Image #1: found on google a few weeks ago. (I ain't trying to steal any kind of copyright.)

Image #2: Me back in 2005 (April 2005 to be exact) & thats the longest my hair has been since I was a child. I wanted it that long for the wedding but its not growing fast enough.

Image #3: this was be after I returned home in February 2010. Almost exactly like the first image.

I had a haircut two weeks before our vacation in May, I don't think she cut much, maybe 2-3 inches, and now I am in need of a cut badly, it's way past my shoulders, and if I don't wash it every day, it looks blah. Having thin hair stinks! I will keep it long for the wedding, and just cut 4 inches afterwards like I have been doing the past few years. Short hair does not look good on me.

PS: I have to keep my hair short because my long hair is super thick and heavy & contributes to my migraines and seizures :'-/
