Theatre Ceremony?...any ideas?

If you mean a traditional theater with a stage, curtains, etc., then half your work is done. Since the chairs are probably permanent, just decorate the backs with ribbons, flowers, etc. The stage can be anything. Maybe you can even use one of the "drops" they have in stock. Also, depending on what lighting they have you may be able to use that. The first step would be to find out what they have, what you can use, etc.

I went to a reception at a theatre once and it was beautiful! Sorry- I have no pics though.

There was a wedding on Four Weddings where they did their vows in front of the curtain, then opened up the curtain, and all the tables were set up on the stage for dinner.

My good friend & her FH are having their ceremony at the community theater where they met. Their wedding is in June of this year, so I can't help you with too much. All I know is that she has local ties to the theater, she had to schedule it in between shows (so that they don't have to worry about stage equipment and what not). She has a lot of really wonderful ideas as to how to decorate the stage and theater. It's the wedding (other than mine, obvi) that I am most looking forward to this year. It's going to be spectacular!

Thanks ladies...makes me think it doesn't have to be that bad after all I will definitely lookinto the backdrops and lighting...guess I have to let those creative juices flow
