Themes for a November, December wedding

SARA, on November 25, 2016 at 1:04 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 18

Hi! I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for a sophisticated theme for a November/December wedding. So, not "fall" or "winter wonderland", but something creative!

So "fall" is an unsophisticated wedding theme?

    Noted.

Unless you are doing a true "theme" almost everything has been done. I'd start with a scene that you and FH love and work your way out. We are doing snowflakes just BC we live how in winter, when it sbows, all the snow lines the branches of the teees. We worked out way out from there.

How about "wedding"? I just don't get why themes are needed for weddings. Save the theme for birthday parties. Kids birthday parties.

Your wedding isn't in October? It says October. By your name.

If you don't want to do a season theme, which I think both fall and winter wonderland are, then you could do literally any theme you want! I don't think that you need to limit your ideas just because of what season your wedding is in.

I would do like emerald green and a burgundy with gold accents! Gorgeous!

That seems like a super rash response when the comments didn't warrant it.

I, for one, am not a fan of themes. Do you mean color scheme or are you thinking like Frosty the Snowman?

I don't understand themes. The theme should be "wedding".

I had the same question since I always dreamed of a Midnight in Paris theme... But all that went out of the window once I picked my date... I'm just doing fall colors and incorporating basketball for my groom

Do you have your venue reserved? If you are set on having a theme it is wise to choose one that works with your venue rather then trying to work against it. What does your venue look like? Pictures?

Im with the others, I don't understand why people need a "theme" for their wedding. Save your time, energy and money and focus on properly hosting your guests!
