I wanted to do a Hawaii theme similar to what you're doing. But because of a change of plans, that had to get nixed.


Now we're doing a travel theme. We are incorporating world maps in our stationary, and our meal features food from around the world. Our table numbers will be places we've been. Our venue has a giant marble mural of the state, so it's perfect!

We did a pirate destination wedding, then a local reception three months later with a swanky 50’s/60’s theme. A themed wedding is so fun & memorable!

View Quoted Comment We are having it at the chief’s club on the navy base here. It is on the water. In case of rain, we can do it inside where they have plate glass windows toward the water. Here are some pictures I took when we looked at it. He’s a retired master chief and said he’s planning the whole thing!

Our wedding is at a ski resort in Alta, WY right next to the Grand Tetons. We’re doing a rustic/outdoors/mountain theme. I’m going to try to incorporate reused items into our decorations and some old wood pieces for the desert table set up, centerpieces, etc. These are our colors:

I am actually doing a Vintage Fantasy Unicorn Theme. The colors are navy, blush pink, white, and olive green(leaves). I am getting married at Bel Air Bay Club.

Simple rustic... I love simple colors are navy and dusty rose.. I am adding wood slabs and mason jars with babys breath and pink roses as center pieces... trying to think of other rustic decor to add.

Ours was sort of driven by the venue, a rather quirky/rustic/vintage vibe. Which pretty much suits us to a T. My dress is art deco style. I'm using a mint condition vintage suitcase gifted to me by a friend to hold wedding favors for the guests. And simple burlap/lace wrapped mason jar centerpieces with flowers and fairy lights.

Aww your theme sounds so fun!

We will be having a travel theme because FH and I love to travel together.

Each table will be named after somewhere we have traveled together. The table names are on airplanes. Our centerpieces are glittery gold vases filled with flowers I made out of maps and will have pictures of us at the destination the table is named after! Our card box is an old suitcase and our guest book is a globe. Our seating chart will be a map within a large frame with the title "Where in the world are you sitting."

It has been so fun doing all of the DIY for our wedding. I can't wait to see it all come together

I’m not worried about seating, let people sit where they want. Everyone will know at least 2 other couples. You’ll have to show me pictures of how great it looked once it comes together!
