-went into 2 different malls this week and strangers are crowded in the food courts all over the place eating, standing, yet outdoor weddings aren’t allowed to have any standing and have capacity restrictions.
-Arcades like Dave & Buster’s and Pool halls are able to remain open, yet my guests aren’t allowed to safely play socially distanced lawn games.
-Big events Like the music awards in New York and the Super Bowl was allowed to have big giant dance teams with very limited social distancing, yet capacity reduced outdoor weddings arent allowed to have safe socially distanced dancing.
- any other industry, if a business can’t provide you with what they’ve promised in your contract, you get a refund, yet with the wedding industry, they’re not only allowed to break their contracts but they also have the audacity to charge you more if you have to push out your date, or simply keep your money for services that they cannot provide or refused to provide.
-People who claim to be against weddings right now, yet have no problems going out to eat, walking around in the mall, go visit friends, and refuse to acknowledge that there are 30 person weddings could be as much of a risk as a 70 person wedding. As everyone says it only takes one person right.?

I wish we could! At some point we have to live life again! And exactly I don’t want my wedding memories to be everyone wearing a mask. That’s why I was going to postpone again( I was supposed to be a 2020 bride) but why even bother because theirs no guarantee next year will change! I’m so glad someone can relate to how I feel lol

Oh I know 100%! Especially when many of us brides signed our contracts before this whole pandemic even happened. You’d think they would take that into account and be a bit more lenient with the restrictions or at least offer us a full refund as the contract that we signed at the time had nothing to do with wearing masks and all of this other BS. It’s just so nice to come on here and talk to people that understand. With the exception of some on here, who think that their 30 person wedding is totally fine but then have the audacity to shun my larger wedding. It’s simply just ridiculous. As it gets closer and closer to June I’m going to start demanding and pushing at my state house more. I’m not playing games with my wedding day. And yes we all need to start living our lives again! Now that we know that Covid isn’t as deadly as everyone claimed it was, We need to get things back on track and stop playing these foolish games.

I totally agree! That’s why I rarely try to comment on here because you of course have some brides saying to postpone and you don’t care about anyone but that isn’t the case at all! I just don’t know how much longer we can put our lives on hold. And I didn’t sign a expensive contract for a 10 person wedding and that just isn’t me! I am in quite a bind because my dj is paid in full and he has full on disappeared on me! I’m sick of the games!!! Best of luck to you girl enjoy your big day!
