Thinking of old memories....

Molly, on November 13, 2020 at 12:55 PM Posted in Family and Relationships 0 11

I was just thinking back on my favorite/funniest memory with my husband. It was only our third date. We had gotten some deli sandwiches and were eating them in his car at a look out. It was chilly out so we had all the windows up. He adjusts himself in his seat and farts loudly! Smiley xd I said "Did you just fart?" He replied, with the straightest face possible, "Oh, no. That was just my boot squeaking against my floor mat." A few moments passed and I said "Man you boot squeak sure does stink!" WE both started laughing uncontrollably for like ten minutes straight and still laugh about it to this day.

What is your favorite memory you have with your significant other?

    Omg 😂😂😂
My fiancé never farts in front of me. He will step outside or go upstairs to do his business LOL What he doesn’t know though, is that when he farts in the shower upstairs every morning, I can hear him all the way downstairs! I swear being in that shower stall makes it echo SO loud! And not only that, it also sounds wet since he is in the shower! He thinks he is being so sneaky and couth.... I don’t have the heart to tell him his farts are practically shaking the walls downstairs! 😂

OMG that is so funny! I think one of my favorite memories is of when he came to visit me for the first time since being long distance. We hadn't seen each other for a whole year and as soon as he saw me through the glass in arrivals he started sprinting towards me and grabbed me and spun me around and kissed me, just like the movies! It was magical.

About four months into dating, I had to take a business trip and he went with me. We were laying on the hotel bed, watching TV, when he decided to lean over and try to raspberry my belly in his way of just being silly. But he didn't know how to do it and instead just kind of made the noise into my stomach. 🤣 I died laughing and so did he.

He arranged for my mom to come into town and surprise me on my 25th birthday.

    That is SO funny haha!

it was maybe our fifth date and we went out for ice cream. i bit way too much off a cone and it was deathly cold and my mouth was just stuffed with the ice cream. i looked around for something to spit it out and he literally held his hand out and i spit the ice cream into his hand and we laughed so hard. i felt so embarrassed because i felt like wow am i going to get another date after this? haha. sure enough he texted me that night saying he really enjoyed dates like that because at that point you're just being yourself, even if it's dorky, and it's genuine laughter.

Mine isn’t really any kind of funny memory, but my favorite was our entire trip to Niagara Falls a few years ago. We just genuinely had such a great time and really appreciated and enjoyed each other’s company. I’m literally dying for another trip like that even though I know it’s not possible right now.

About half of my favorite memories with DH are, uh, not appropriate for forums. Let's just say the term "fun buttons" once ended up in a text to him, because I had been working at a Very Famous Toy Store during holiday season and I honestly have NO IDEA what happened to my brain. It was the end of a shift, I think I was trying to be sexy, and. Uh. Yeah, it all came out wrong.

DH received this text *while grocery shopping* and scared the rest of the customers as he nearly fell over laughing.

My *favorite* memory of him isn't really all that funny, though. I got pneumonia 5 years ago, bad enough to be hospitalized. DH was working 2 jobs AND had a show in a festival, AND lived in Upper Manhattan while I lived in Jersey.

And he not only got me to the hospital, he was there *every day* - came to take care of me when I got home, did my laundry and my shopping and... again... he didn't even live with me, yet!
