So im getting quotes from florists and I'm realizing that its going to be 450-500 for flowers for 5 girls. That to me is alot of money for such a small in my opinion somewhat unnecessary detail. My floral budget is limited as we are spending more feeding and liquoring up our guests and id rather spend it decorating the venue than on bouquets they will hold for a few minutes.

You guys know manners so my question is : Is this rude/cheap/tacky? I plan on giving each of them gifts as well as paying for their lodging so i'm not skimping on them overall.

I'm a bit biased because I've worked at florist shops, but flowers really do add so much color and texture to your photos and your ceremony. It's the little details. Ask your bridesmaids if any of them have experience making bouquets? Myself and a few friends put together our friends' bouquets on her porch while she was in rehearsal and they turned out awesome.

Groomsmen don't hold anything when they stand there. If you can't afford it, don't stress over it. Just my opinion.

We will be repurposing our bridesmaids bouquets for the reception space (side tables etc) after the ceremony and pictures are done.
