Hey girl, I’m a Latina and my fiancé is Latino. Is there a way I can help? Or do you mean like the actual app itself or the forums?

    What gave you that idea?

Vendors are competitive. Are you inferring racism from the fact that a venue was booked...?

That has nothing to do with the app and more to do with the venue. Venues are first come first serve. Whoever give the deposit first on that dates gets it unfortunately. It's going to be hard finding a venue with open dates between now and 2021 because of covid pushing everyone's dates later. Sorry your having trouble.

I don't think it is the app that you are having problems with. It sounds like you are having problems booking vendors. Due to Covid, a lot of vendors are already booked for next year because of weddings having to be postponed.

From what I'm reading it definitely doesn't sound like the app versus the venues and availability. WW is great to provide suggestions, but I actually found my venue / resort through online search engines, google and google maps.

i.e. - I want to get married to the Sunrise on the Atlantic. I searched high / low for venues and resorts that were directly on the atlantic, the easiest way for me to do that was via google maps.

WW and The Knot, provide guidance but they do not have an all inclusive list of every venue available.

I’m latina and I actually really like this app. I don’t think it’s bias, but it’s definitely hard to get venues right now because of COVID. When is your wedding?

Try a google search vs apps like wedding wire or the knot. They actually have to pay to be on these sites so you might be missing venues and vendors. my DJ specifically says they dont promote on these sites and thats why costs are significantly lower than other DJ companies.

Many people had to reschedule to 2021 and later this year. It is very competitive so you need to place a deposit down ASAP.

If youre concerned about costs then you need to do a search for what you can afford. There are venues out there with lower costs. We had a long engagement since we are paying for our wedding without help and credit cards.

Um really? This app is great and it has nothing to do on race. Venues are very competitive right now especially with so many couples having to rebook their dates. No racism. The venues you are looking at are just booked
Also this app gives you suggestions. It does not book venues for you.

Some venues book out extremely far, we booked ours 2.5 years out and couldn’t get the first two dates we wanted. They were even off season dates, right now availability is probably even more limited than normal because of the amount of people who have postponed due to COVID19

If the October 2020 under your pic is your wedding date, that's the problem - not much time between now and then. You're going to have trouble with pretty much every vendor you need with such a short time frame. They're going to be already booked or still closed for covid. It has absolutely nothing to do with the app, your race/ethnicity, or your socioeconomic status.

I disagree as a Covid bride and Latina! My original date was October 17, 2020. I emailed Wedding Wire for suggestions whether I cancel or postpone our wedding. They replied immediately and put my anxiety at ease. They are phenomenal and excellent. I made a final decision to postpone my wedding March 2021. Thankful to wedding wire I navigated the app and to my surprise all my vendors photographer, DJ, entertainment for guest, and hotel are all available March 27, 2021. I didn’t lose any money. I am no longer discouraged and super excited. I am grateful to this app because this helps you channel all your frustrations and you are not alone.

I suggest organizing in a timely manner and do not blame anyone. Your wedding will be beautiful
