This is so Hard: Fiancè might not love my dress

THIS IS A LONG ONE LOL...Sooooo I'm the bride that has done so much research on what I want exactly in a dress. I'm talking walk in the store like a bad ass like "I like this type of silhouette, with crepe or tulle material, I like a deep V-neck with straps, no ball gowns and no fancy lace" like I'm prepared! Had a whole spreadsheet lol. I get to the store and fall in love with a dress that is COMPLETELY OPPOSITE of what I asked for but that's ok because I was open to trying others. I never wanted a mermaid because I really want to dance. I have always known that I did want a clean, sleek, mordern SIMPLE dress. That's me, that's my style! Long story short...my family DOESN'T LIKE THE DRESS...they think it's not enough and doesn't have that wow factor 😔 They're accepting of it but I know they wish I wanted more from a dress. My mom is very supportive of me now that she understands what I like but it was tough.

Butttttt I'm not winning over anybody and my fiance is included in the anybody. I asked what type of dress he might like to see me in and he straight said "something that's in between" lol we're both simple people but he wants us to look like celebrities on our special day and I totally agree. Then he goes "nothing plain, I mean who wants a plain dress right" 🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️😫🤪😟😬😢🥴 MEEEEEE I do I dooooo...I almost died lol. I just laughed right along like I know right LOL! Now I don't know if I should get it. My man has to love it right? I know he'll love me in anything but still I want him to have the look like OHHHH YEAHHHHH! I know it's what I want BUT I want people to at least say OMG she looks stunning! So now I'm trying all these other dresses and I can't decide. Should I step out my comfort zone? I need guidance guys...What are your thoughts?

Yeah besides how the dress looks, you and your figure look great in that dress! I love the dress too! I just picked my dress out a week ago and I always pictured a fancy sparkly dress but ended up falling in love with a simple lace one with the only bling on it being the belt so I understand lol. I promise your husband and everyone else will see you in it on the wedding day and not a single person will think “I wish her dress had more” at the end, it’s your wedding anyways and if you love it, of course so will your husband!

You look beautiful! FH May say he doesn’t like plain but he has not seen you in THIS dress, when he does I think he will love it. I love the addition of the belt and you can always add a headband or comb with some bling. Are you wearing a veil?

I actually think your dress is wow and the belt compliments it! Remember your family is seeing you in a lot of different dresses some more wow than others and even lace which they might mean to it. Your fiancé is going to see you walk down the aisle with THE dress with gorgeous hair and make up and he would not think you look plain and simple at all. You can always bling it up but get the dress of your dream and you’ll look gorgeous regardless! Follow your gut.

First of all, there is nothing PLAIN about this dress. You straight up look like you’re about to walk down a runway or red carpet. It is so GLAMOROUS. I love you in it. You are beautiful.

It obviously comes down to how you feel, so go with your gut! But I definitely don’t think this is plain. It’s simple but straight up stunning.

I think it’s beautiful!! You look AMAZING in it. Ultimately, it’s about the dress that you felt was most special. I had second thoughts about my dress like right after buying it but I think it’s because we put so much pressure on ourselves to find the ‘perfect’ something when it comes to our wedding.

You look way too hot in that dress for your FH to complain. Seriously. It may be simple but it's elegant and sexy and that detail in the skirt is awesome. Just bling it up with a big necklace and earrings.
