This is so Hard: Fiancè might not love my dress

This dress is anything but "plain." I think sometimes when people hear the word "simple" they think "plain" but in this context simple just means classic and sleek and STUNNING. There is nothing plain about that silhouette--that is full-blown glamour. Yes, maybe the fabric is "simple" in that it is not beaded or lacey etc... but FH just can't make those distinctions in his head. So, if you're worried about what he is thinking maybe just start using words that reflect just how interesting and dramatic the shape of this dress is and how eye-catching it is. I think you've captured a sort of effortless drama in this look, which seems like exactly what he is hoping for. XOXOX

Just because it's "plain" doesn't mean you won't look stunning. i think it hugs your body in all the right places, and being that it is so simple, it makes the main focus of your dress YOU! i personally don't think you need any more sparkle. the belt adds just enough. you don't want to be overpowered by the dress. if you feel good in it, that's all that matters.

In my opinion i think he will love whatever you wear cause the Joy or marrying will be all that matters. That dress also isn't plain the back and bottom is so BOMB! I think with the belt and some earrings, bracelet, and your ring it will all come together. Follow your heart is what i say in the end you have to comfortable and happy on your day. Good Luck

You look absolutely GORGEOUS! Like other pp said, the groom is not going to care one bit about the fabric. Once he sees how beautiful you look, he'll love it. If you love it and feel confident, that's all that matters! You look like a million bucks in it, that's for sure!

I too ended up with a dress that was the complete opposite of what I originally wanted!!! I wanted an a-line all lace with sleeves, and ended up falling in love with a trumpet style with straps and 3d flower applique all over.
