This or that? (food vs Decor)

Definitely food! We have minimal decor, just because we didn't want to spend a whole lot on something that not many people will remember afterwards (and we didn't want to have to try to sell it or store it or toss it away afterwards). From the weddings I've been to recently, I definitely remember how great the food was, and I don't remember much about the decor.

Food! We didn't buy decor at all because it wasn't in our budget. But we made sure our guests were well fed with the best we could afford.

Definitely food! When I attend weddings as a guest I hardly ever notice the decorations but always remember if the food was good so I wanted our guests to enjoy the food.

Food. Food makes or breaks an event for me.

I can recall friends' weddings, and I can't remember what their centerpieces looked like at all - but I remember their food (whether good or bad).

Food is definitely more important to us than our decor. I think it has one of the biggest impacts on guest experience, and we want to make sure our loved ones are well fed and have a great time! And since we are having a destination wedding, we really wanted to showcase local cuisine that we cannot get here at home.

Food!!!! Decor, well it will look nice, but our group will be dancing, eating, etc not paying much mind to it anyway.

Yup, another food vote! I've been to plenty of weddings where the decor was pretty but on the sparse side, and I didn't care as long as they fed me. It's nice to have a little something to make it more special than a typical restaurant, but beyond that, I'll remember the food a lot more than the decor.

Food, without a doubt. Guests aren’t going to care if you don’t have an immaculately decorated space but if you don’t feed them properly there’ll be complaints.

i feel like if the decor was eh but the food was amazing, people are going to be more about the food because that's what they CONSUME.

i barely decorated, i spent most of my budget on good food.

Food at my own wedding. I wanted to include a variety of diets and to reach a certain taste level. But, for others' weddings, prob decor. I find it more personal. I don't mind generic wedding food.

Food, it's usually the biggest expense of a wedding! Let nature be the decor, let pretty lighting on plain walls be the decor. Let your gorgeous attire be the decor!

Food, food, food!

Food is most important because it makes or breaks the event. Nearly all the weddings we have attended didn’t have any decor but the food was hit or miss. We will have decor but it won’t be extravagant.
