Those poofy things!!!

Kristina, on May 10, 2012 at 3:34 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 11

Ok ladies, I love my dress, but I want it to poof a little more than it does..... what are those poofy things called that go under the skirt to give it more ooomph!!?? And along with the name, does anyone know of an inexpensive site to get one from? My dress is ivory so I don't think I want a white one just in case it hangs any lower than my dress. But all in all, without a name, when I google, wedding dress poofy things, I don't get results!!! hhhmmmm..... wonder why!!??

Crinoline slips. You can try eBay or I also found some inexpensive ones on this site:

Ok there are ones with hoops on ebay, how do you sit in the ones with hoops so they don't fly over your head?? that would happen to me!!

are they one size fits all or how to I know if it will be too long? I suppose alter if it is huh...... do the ones with the train bustle nicely?

I would think maybe you could just also search "Tool wedding/dress slips" isn't that what the material is called?

Hoop ones are good for the summer - they keep you cooler than the tulle slips. But the tulle slips are easier to sit in. I've never tried one with a train. Usually your MOH just fluffs your dress when you are at the altar. I wouldn't worry about one like that. Can we see a picture of you in your dress? An A-line dress would get a different slip than a mermaid silhouette.

Yes, it's a china website but they have low prices and you still have some time left to order.

Here ya go Hayley. I am thinking I like the look of the hoop, but I don't want a huge little bo peep one, I just want a small hoop i mean maybe two and a half - three foot hoop for the largest

Found this one, will it work? My dress is still about an inch too long, this might help eat up some of the length so I don't step on it all night..... I would have to pull it up high to the waist where the fabric is on my dress because I am short and it is 47" from floor to waist but then it will poof out right under the waist band.

Second thought, can these be colored?
