Those who are taller then their spouse , are you wearing heels or flats?

A beach wedding! How beautiful! How short is your dress? The only other option I can think of is a kitten heel of about 1 inch :/ Are you sure flats won't look cute with the short dress?

If the wedding is taking place on a beach, I would think flats would be your best option, as heels will just sink into the sand and make it more difficult to walk. Have you tried flats on with your dress yet? They make some really beautiful bridal flats these days! Sandals could be an option also since it is on the beach, and I’ve seen multiple brides go barefoot in the sand as well! You could even do a pair of cute booties!

If you want to wear heels you can always consider a very short heel. Kitten heels are an inch or less, they look classy and vintage. Or there are so many elegant flats nowadays, Im sure you can find super cute and classy sandals as well.

My husband is half an inch taller than me. At first he asked me if I could wear flats, but he was totally understanding when I wanted to wear heels at our vow renewal. I WAS wearing heels to our elopement at the county clerk's office, but it was snowing, so I took them off and put on fuzzy flats xD

I'm not personally taller than my FH, but my friend is 1 inch taller than her FH and she has decided to wear flats (and his shoes have lifts in them). Her dress is long, though.

However, a Facebook friend of mine is a good 2 inches taller than her hubby in flats and she rocks heels all the time, including on their wedding day. She ends up 6" taller than him a lot, and they both just embrace it and rock it.

We're also getting married on the beach and I will literally be wearing Teva sandals 😂 (most likely anyway, no one will see them but me or I'll take them off for the ceremony, so I'm having a hard time justifying the cost of a shoe I won't wear again)

I’m taller than my husband and I wore 2” heels at my wedding. I looked even taller than him in photos, but I felt I looked great, and my husband thought I did too 😁
