Thoughts about Christmas themed wedding

Jacob, on October 7, 2019 at 2:44 PM Posted in Planning 0 11
We are trying to decide on a theme and colors for our wedding. We both really love the Christmas season and everything about Christmas. We have changed our date from August 29th to November 29th. Would having a Christmas themed wedding be to strange to have on November 29th?

I love Christmas so I see no problem with it. At one point I had considered having my wedding be Christmas in July themed since we got married in July. I think it would have been really fun and pretty, but ultimately decided not to. If I could do it again, I might have done it as I have looked at ideas since and really loved the Christmas theme.

I would find it odd to attend a Christmas themed wedding in November, but it’s your wedding, do whatever you want!

I think as long as it is after thanksgiving that it will work fine. Most venues decorate that week.

No, I don't think so. It's past Thanksgiving & even though it isn't "winter", it still feels like it so I think it makes sense.

I don’t think of Christmas when I think of November (even at the end of November). Since you’re already shifting the date, maybe you could go one more week to December 7th. Or if you’re stuck on having a theme, try a fall theme instead

I filmed a wedding last year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving and it was Christmas themed. It turned out to be so beautiful! I didn't think it was odd at all.

After Thanksgiving, anything Christmas related is appropriate. Go for it. Plus you would have less risk on shows than mid-late December when people start to travel to spend Christmas with their families.
