Thoughts on baby's breath?

I shocked myself today when I realized I kind of like baby's breath centerpieces. What's your honest opinion...is it ugly? Cheap? The BMs and I will have pink peonies in our bouquets...would the styles clash? Being inexpensive would be an added bonus, but I'm curious about whether you think it looks...

The third picture is baby's breath, bunches of carnations, and roses. Thoughts please!!

    Rosie,

I can honestly say that you have SHOCKED me. I really hate babys breath, told my florist I did NOT want it. And have never seen it in a way I would say "thats pretty" UNTIL now.

Wow, those are very unique and gorgeous. Smiley smile

Completely agree with Rosie. When I read the question I was ready to say how awful it is, but your photos are so pretty. I didn't know it could look so nice all by itself.

I love the baby's breath I think it's classic and simple. it gives me a vintage feeling, I am having them in my bouquets a little here and there, but I really do like the bb alone too. hmm

I don’t hate it but love it. Though I saw it on a wedding episode and they used it for there center pieces and I loved them. Wedding coordinators are also saying the BB is coming back as the #1 style as is carnations. I am actually thinking of having both in our center pieces.

Rosie, If you are having lace, baby's breath goes perfectly! It's a different and kind of unique look If I remember correctly, your dress is a Maggie lace dress and this might finish the look!

My bridal bouquet is all baby's breath as well as all my centerpieces and decorations. I LOVE this flower. And yes it is cheap, which is a bonus, but not really why I picked it.

My florist is usuing Millionaires baby's breath(I think that is the name) which is bigger and nicer looking than reg. baby's breath.

Soo NOT a fan of baby's breath, but I guess it depends on the look you are going for.

I think your pictures are breath-takingly beautiful! As MOB, that's the flowers I will have for the wedding. This are simple, tasteful but so understatedly beautiful. I think your centerpieces are exquisite! :-)
