    Is it diamond or moissanite?

Diamond -round cut. ~2.7 to 3 ct. Still has to be appraised.

You asked for honest feedback. To my untrained eye, it looks very "cloudy." Based on how it looks to me, I'd assume it's not actually a diamond, or a very low quality diamond, or in desperate need of a professional cleaning. It's my understanding that cut, color, and clarity can all have role in a cloudy appearance. It's quite large so if that's the wearer's primary concern it definitely fits that criteria; however, personally, I prefer a smaller more clear and sparkly diamond to a larger stone than seems more dull in appearance. I do not mean any disrespect, you asked for an honest opinion.

I agree with the PP it seems a bit cloudy in the pictures but that might just be the picture. Personally I would go with smaller and more clarity but that’s just me.

As PP’s mentioned, it does seem cloudy. In the last and 2nd to last pictures it looks like there are inclusions. This is all really hard to tell from just pics though! There’s nothing like video or in-person.
I definitely recommend cleaning it first though!

I think it's beautiful! Cloudy or not! It has character and looks fantastic on you.
To me an engagement ring is a gift from the giver. I think to question it at this point, may hurt some feelings.
Nothing is perfect, and to me there is beauty in imperfections.
It is beautiful! Take it to be cleaned and talk to the jeweller.
I would be thrilled to wear that ringSmiley smile
    Just my humble opinion.

Do you have a GIA report on the diamond? That might give you some clues about the diamonds specs, especially the cut and clarity.

I think it is beautiful and you are rocking it. If you want better quality my guess is you will have to go smaller if you turn that ring in for something else.

I work in jewlery and that is not a good diamond, if you want my honest opinion. The ring style is beautiful and a big solitaire like that is costly, even if the clarity isn't the best. When you have a bigger stone, the flaws that are in all diamonds are just more visible. Rings made up of more tint diamonds dont show the flaws or cloudiness as much. It is still a beautiful ring, no one is looking at it as closely as you so no one is really going to notice it. It is still very lovely

I feel like it doesn't hold a twinkle or sparkle like it should. Especially in the bright light. It looks more CZ in the brighter pics. It could be the way the light is shining on it, but for a "diamond" of that size, it should POP in the sunshine. I just don't see that. (I mean this comment as no disrespect).
