So I was considering wearing a tiara for my wedding, it's Victorian themed and my fiance proposed to me outside Buckingham palace.Even though it's Victorian themed, we have definitely been in a super careful to not have any cheese or tacky elements to the wedding. It's all very elegant and a modern take on Victorian, including my dress. I'm curious on wearing tiaras on your wedding day. Is it to pageant Queen and tacky? Or do you think it can be elegant and classy? Including pictures of me in my dress and the tiaras I am looking at.

Do it. Put them together and see how you like it. Tiaras are not just for royals. I chose to wear one in honor of a family member who is no longer with us. She would wear them on her birthdays. Just try it.

I say do it! And I just love that 1st one you posted! Like Somebody else mentioned, when else will it be acceptable to wear one? Go for it! I don't think it looks tacky. The ones your looking at look tastefully and classy. I'm thinking I want to wear one, too, just gotta figure how I want to do my hair and find one i like in budget. Smiley smile

I think over the top pageant tiaras are tacky. But the lower profile ones? It's personal taste. I'm making myself a hair vine that might end up being a closed loop. It will definitely date my pictures. But it's pretty, and the silhouette and everyone else's clothes will also end up dating the picture, and there's nothing wrong with that. I especially love the first one you posted, and I think it would be lovely with your dress and veil.

I'm wearing a tiara to my wedding! It's disney themed and I want to feel and look like a real life princess that day! The way I see it, it should be the most special day between you and your fiancé. Also it's the one day you can get away with wearing one and looking like a queen. I say do what will make you happy and feel amazing!

I got a beautiful ballgown to wear on my wedding day. I also got the tiara that is added to this post. It's beautiful and it looks so good with my dress. I don't think they're tacky. The "rules" to wear a tiara specifically address wearing them for weddings. They can technically only be worn by brides and married women according to traditional rules.

You said your wedding is victorian themed, I think a tiara would fit perfectly. Your train is gorgeous also.

I am not going to be wearing a veil and going to be wearing a crown/tiara; so I think if you want a tiara; go for a tiara :-D

In general tiaras remind me of prom or pageants; everyone has different opinions. But if goes with your theme! I agree with others that a small one could be great!

I’m not a fan because even the simple ones look pageanty/royal like you’re playing dress up. But to each their own.

The low profile tiaras seem nice. Those style tiaras look fine alone or as if the start of the veil.
