Tieks for wedding shoes ?

A.L.S., on November 6, 2016 at 9:52 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 19

Has anyone done tieks for their wedding shoes ? My thought process is I'll wear them again. I'm doing a flat because my FH and I are the same height . I'm not sure what to do . Do I go all out and get blinged out flats I'll never wear , or do I get red tieks and wear them again?

Well depending on what you mean by "go all out" idk if you've looked at prices, but tieks run in the $200 range

What I mean by go all out is just get the ultimate bridal shoe and not care that I won't wear them again . My budget is 200 .

I wish they worked for me!! I wear flats ALL the time for work, and they gotten such great reviews that I wanted to try them. First pair was way to tight, I wore them around the house with socks to try and stretch them a little, so they sent me the next size up, WAY to big. I was so sad because the quality was so good! Their customer service was excellent and I'd recommend them to people. Personally I'd get a color I'd wear again, maybe a cream or champagne. Unless your color is red, OR wear them again when you get invited to someone else's wedding or a fancy holiday party Smiley smile

Tieks have been a go to for me for quite some time and I find them to be really comfortable! I am going with the California navy Tieks for my big day and they will also be my something blue. They are definitely worth every penny in my opinion.

I never thought of getting Tieks but now I think I may do that!! We had our engagement pictures yesterday and I regretted the wedges I wore so bad because they made me taller than him and I felt so awkward lol.

I love Tieks! So worth the money. Especially if you can wear them for a special occasion too. I wore yellow Tieks for the wedding, they were so comfortable and a perfect pop of color to match my bouquet. I think it's a great idea, personally. I have pairs of $40 flats too, but I've never found a pair that's comfortable enough for daily use. Those $40 flats just get thrown in the back of the closet, and I wear Tieks almost daily. I say do it, you won't regret it.

Tip about buying Tieks though: buy two sizes and see what fits best, then return the second size.

The price of the Tieks scared me, but I found some similar flats in blue at DSW for a fraction of the cost. I will definitely wear them after the wedding -- in fact, there have been some days where I've already had to resist the urge to wear them.

I already have a pair of beige tieks that I plan on bringing as back up, I have gotten my money's worth out of them. I love mine!

I love my tieks and if I have the money for it, will be wearing a pair for the wedding. They're expensive but honestly are worth every dollar. I've tried the knockoffs and the quality is just not there. I love the customer service as well and they've taken care of my pair of tieks even when the fault was mine - NYC can be rough on shoes. I would get a color I would wear again for sure. I wear a lot of neutrals so a red (or any color) tieks would be my pop of color in every day life.

If you have the money for them, go for it! I wanted tieks to work for me so badly but I had the same problem @kristin had.

Lol no one answered your question! Only go with the red ones if they go with your theme/vibe/look, otherwise get Blinged our ones. you only get married once! I’m sure every so often you’ll wear them and they will make you happy Smiley smile
