For those of you not going to your honeymoon after your wedding, how much time are you taking off before/after? I am a teacher. So far I'm taking off the day of my wedding (Friday) and I already don't have classes the Thursday before. I'm also considering taking off the Wednesday before as well. I'm not sure if there's stuff I will need to prep that day? Also Wednesday is my worst lineup of classes typically so it would honestly take me a long time to destress and feel relaxed from school. I'd love to hear others opinions/experiences. I'm considering it just to cut back on the stress alone.

I am getting married on a Sunday and taking the whole week prior off - but that is mostly because my bridal party is coming from different states (even one from a different country!) and I am going to spend the week with them. Taking the next week off as well.

We are going to Florida the following Monday and return the next Monday. We don't go back till work until midweek.

Hi ! I'm also a teacher... in my country I'm allowed to take 2 days but only AFTER the wedding... so I did, to relax a little bit after the whole weekend ;-) I got married on saturday, but my guests started coming from abroad already on thursday, so I wednesday was my last day at work, my colleagues were so nice to replace me during those 2 days. And honestly, I would need even more... there were a lot of surprises, a lot of stuff that I had to do for my guests suddenly, a mistake in my flyers, so I had to do them once more...

I'm getting married on a Friday and taking Wednesday through Friday off. Wednesday to decompress and pack. Thursday to travel to the hotel, get settled in and set up at the venue. Friday obvious lol.
I had blocked the whole week off for a honeymoon. My FH was planning the honeymoon but everything he wanted to do needed to be in summer and our wedding is in November. We considered a last minute options and are renting out a private suite with a pool and hot tub in it for a few days. I'm keeping the whole week off though since I'm so burnt out from not having a full week off in so long.
