Tinder love

We met on Tinder! We don't go out of our way to tell people, but are honest about it if anyone asks. Most people just think it's cool/ funny. And I usually throw in a - yeah definitely never thought I would meet my husband on Tinder, but here we are! I think it's way more common these days.

Me and my FH met on Plenty of Fish. My parents weren't too happy about the online dating, but they love him so they over look it. My 70 something year old aunt asked if I could get her set up on the website 😂😂

My fh and I met in Match. Its nothing that I hide. People at 1st are surprised but I explains to them I didn't want to find someone in a bar and the church I attend is full of married couples or singles that are not my type. Then they totally understand and move on to the next thing.

I have a former boss that married her husband from Tinder and an old friend that met her husband from Tinder. I think it's fine and you don't want to start your relationship with a lie to other people.

My old friend even had a cute mug that said "I'm so happy that I swiped right!" I think on the 'o' it was a diamond ring though.

My FH and I met on tinder! We always told everyone we met at Starbucks. I have thought the same thing hoping it wont get out, especially with all of the negativity surrounding tinder. But you’ve got this and at the end of the day people meet their significant others in all sorts of places and if it gets out oh well, your in a serious relationship and you’re getting married. Don’t be embarrassed! It’s a unique part of your guys love story.

I met my FH on tinder! I am so blessed things have worked out after TONS of awful dates from that site. Our entire family knows that's how we met, it's so common nowadays so we decided to be honest with them!

My FH and I were in the same situation for a majority of our relationship. We met when I was 15, he was 17. I live in Ohio and he lived in Virginia. We actually met through a website called Stickam. It was a lot like YouNow... You can go live on webcam and there's a chatroom where people can come in and talk to you etc. I was in my friends room (she was at her dads house for the weekend, so we would "hangout" on stickam when we couldn't in person). My FH joined her room and went on webcam with her... I told her I thought he was cute, she told him, he messaged me, and the rest is history... But of course, since we were so young, we didn't want to tell everyone we had never actually met. So up until recently, we told people that my friend knew him in person, but introduced him to me online, to try to make it less weird.

Now tho, I'm at the point where I don't care what people think. It is what it is, and its our story. We may not have actually known eachother in person in the beginning, but it obviously worked out!

My FH and I met on Tinder too. Here we are 3 months later engaged and planning the wedding of my dreams! I paid for 6 months of the gold membership and he just used the free version. Best $112 I ever spent!! Whenever I tell people they say,”Isn’t Tinder a hook up site?” I laugh and say that was not my experience. I went on a dozen or so dates before meeting my last swipe!! All the online sites are just a tool to meet people, which is great because the bar scene is not my thing!! There is no shame in saying you met on Tinder or another site! Especially since you found the one!! Best of luck 💕
