Tip for Venue Special Events Coordinator?

Hi there. I don't have a wedding planner, but the venue special event coordinator really has gone above and beyond. She's creating the centerpieces, printing the escort cards, decorating the reception hall with her staff, coordinating with the catering company, etc.

What would be an appropriate tip for her and her team?

That’s really nice they’re also making the escort cards! Is the tip not included in the final total? For us, it’s included, I’d check to be sure unless you’re giving them an additional tip on top of. Typically rule of thumb is 20%.

Yes absolutely plan to rip her 20 percent or more. It’s a courtesy especially if the have gone over and beyond.

Out of curiosity, what are you basing the 20% on? The advice I'm seeing for venue coordinators is around $250-$500.
