Tipping Baker?

We are DIY most of our wedding, but I'm buying a small wedding cake (6", single layer) to go on the dessert table. The baker's delivery fee was almost as much as the cake, so I'm picking it up. Should I tip her?

    I agree with Melle. If you're picking up the cake, I don't think a tip is required. If the bakery did something that was above and beyond (rush order, added extras and didn't charge you for them, etc), and you feel like you'd like to leave a tip, go for it, but otherwise I don't think it's necessary.

    It’s not expected but if they go above and beyond and you feel they deserve something, it’s always appreciated.
