Tipping for trials??

So I am not to sure of tipping etiquette for hair and makeup trials. Both ladies are going to be the ones I use for my wedding. For hair it’s $45 but goes towards my overall cost. For makeup it’s $50 for the trial and does not go towards my overall cost. Do I tip based on those prices then tip again on my wedding day based on the leftover cost for hair and cost for makeup? Also, not sure if it matters, but both ladies are charging $50 each for travel, I think that’s fair and normal as they will be taking a day off from their salon to be there for my wedding.

    Yes—I tipped 20% of both the trial cost and the day of cost, including travel. For you I’d tip $20 for my trials and then whatever 20% of whatever the bill is on your wedding day.

    I tipped 20% for what my trial cost then I’ll be tipping again for what mine and my daughters is going to cost me.

    I am usually pretty good about knowing how much and when to tip, but this kinda threw me. Thanks ladies!!!
