Tipping hair and makeup artist?!

So I was wondering what I should tip for my hair and makeup. My hair will be $30-$50 because it’s a family friend and she is coming to us. What should I tip her? My makeup artist will not come to me because I don’t have more than 8 people in my party.. my party is doing their own and I didn’t want to deal with it so she is just doing mine lol. She charged me $70 for my trial and it’s $100 day of and again, I am driving to her house. What should I tip her?

    I believe it's customary to tip the same as you would at a salon - approximately 20% of the cost of services?

    I would do $20 each. It's 20% for the makeup artist, and extra for your hair stylist since she's a friend Smiley smile unless of course there is something that you are not satisfied with, then you can lower it

    Hey Teresa!!

    For your hairstylist and makeup artist, you should tip them 15-20% of their fee. If your friend is lowering her fee as a gift to you, you could tip her 20% of her usual price if you felt like it.
