Tipping hmua during trial

That's completely up to you, if you love everything from the trial then feel free to leave a tip but you're not obligated!

I tip for each service. A tip for trial and a tip for the day of. The artist is working each time, so I feel like it’s fair. That’s just me, though.

I was wondering this same thing! I think I will tip for the trial in addition to day of. Like Kristen said, they're working for both days.

I tipped for both. Like Kristen said, the person is providing a service each time, so to me it is appropriate to tip for both.

Thank you to everyone who has replied. I just reviewed my contract and it already includes a 15% gratuity for both the trial and the day of. Still tip separately you all think? Thanks again!

I usually tip 20% for services if the service was good, so I'd say if you're happy with the results you should still tip a little additional for a job well done. If the result isn't to your liking, I don't think you need to give any more and I would provide feedback after the trial of what you want to change for the actual big day!
