So we are getting down to the wire for our wedding. We are getting married Nov 2nd and we need some help.
How much do you tip the DJ? Do you tip the wedding planner? Both are the owners of their businesses.
How much do you tip the officiant and the photographer?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Happy planning y'all ❤

I only tipped my DJ and I gave him over 15%. I think 15-20% is good

We're only tipping the venue's servers the night of the wedding - about $25/each depending on how many there will be.
Our only vendors who will be with us all night are the photographer and DJ - both sell employed. After the wedding, we'll write our reviews and thank you cards. At this time we'll include either a gift card or cash ($50).

Yes, you tip all of your vendors. 15-20% is sufficient.

I also don't believe in tipping someone that has their own business whether it is for something like photography, HMUA, or coordinator because they set their own prices and value for their services. I do tip employees of larger companies (like a catering company, photographers who have set wages, bartenders, etc.) 15-20%
