Tipping

I didn't tip mine after the engagement shoot. Actually, it never even occurred to me to do so, as I know she'll be doing our wedding, and I'll tip her then, for the entire service.

My photographer is doing both! We did not tip after the engagement session. I plan to tip a little after the wedding, but not sure how much you're actually supposed to tip. 15-20% on thousands of dollars seems crazy to me!

I didn’t tip mine after our engagement photos were done. Actually, the cost of our engagement photos is wrapped up in the final cost of our wedding photos, which are not paid in full yet. So to me it seemed awkward to tip when he hasn’t been paid yet. (Due date is in December).

I am perplexed as to how much to tip. It just seems like so much money if you tip everyone the normal percentage. I would love to hear suggestions or what anyone else has done or plans to do!

My engagement shoot is in my photography package as well. I did not tip for it nor do I necessarily plan to tip at all as she owns her own company.

We didn't tip after our engagement photos a couple weeks ago. I figure we take are of tips on the day of the wedding.

Our photographer will be doing the same. We plan to tip for all services after the wedding.

I didn't know about tipping photographers either. I will be using one at the wedding only. Are we supposed to tip all of the vendors? I'm kind of without guidance or experience. Around how much is a decent tip?
