My Hair and Makeup artist sent me a invoice today that included a 18% gratuity. I'm just wondering if it's expected to pay a tip to the artist if the gratuity is already included. I'm assuming day of if I'm happy with all they have done I'd pay them some extra to equal 20% tip but just want to make sure this is correct thinking. Thank you!

Gratuity is a tip. No need to tip anything additional unless you feel that it's appropriate.

If the gratuity is already included you don't have to provide more unless you choose to.

I wouldn't personally. Like you said of they go above and being maybe add a bit more to make it 20%.
