Anais, on April 8, 2020 at 9:17 PM Posted in Planning 0 25

I cannot find a site that has invitations that I like. Any suggestions?

Are you doing digital ones or physical ones? Appy Couple has pretty ones that match their websites.

I couldn’t find one that fit my vision so I ended up designing my own.

I am doing physical ones. I don't know if I am being very picky or what but I don't like anything I saw on previous sites I looked at. I will check out appy now.

Haha don’t worry— I was in the same boat. If you’re somewhat comfortable with illustrator or photoshop, it’s fairly inexpensive to design and print out your own.

I went a little wild with my invitations and did custom packaging and what not... it was around $700 including postage for shipping 100 small boxes.

Ahh okay. That is true. I want something simple and modern anyways; do not need a lot of graphics. I am going to test my creativity Smiley laugh

Minted is great they will design it for you and you can change it as many times as you want until you like it.

I ordered on. Outcome. But since I need a new set, I’m looking there again and also Sams Club. Sams has a better variety and also design your own. In my case, I don’t have a Sams card but will borrow my sisters.

My fiancé and I have decided to design our own and print them through staples. It makes it way cheaper and you get what you want.

What program did you use to design them?

That’s a good idea. I have Costco, kind of similar to Sam’s club and I didn’t even consider whether they make invitations. I’m gonna check it out

If you are on a budget you and want simple you could consider https://www.annsbridalbargains.com/.

There invites include the envolopes and RSVP for under $1 each. you can somewhat customize the color and pictures. They are also often doing promos, the more you order the cheaper/invite set. I think I paid $80 for 100invites with rsvps and envelopes customized.

PenelopesPaperPantry on Etsy. They send as many proofs as you want until they look perfect. They have matching stickers/envelopes, rsvp cards, inserts, and countless designs for all seasons. They’re reasonably priced too.

I liked several I found on Vistaprint and I’ll stalk it for a while to catch a good coupon. I did use Canva to design my bridesmaid’s proposal cards and I’m thinking about using it for my programs.

I’ll check that out as well. Designing is the best idea. Did you match your programs with your invites or no?

Haven’t finished either yet, but I’m not planning to. There’s an outdoorsy-nature theme to all my papers but not matchy-matchy . My save the dates were a starry sky with silhouette tree tops. The invitations will be teal sky with pine trees. And right now I’m putting daisies on the program. And well, I’m probably just buying some cheaper generic thank you cards from Amazon that are either floral or have my wedding colors on them.
