I have a major sweet tooth. I love my sweets and I crave them every night. Any tips on how to cut back on eating sweets? I do already eat sugar free jell-o and pudding, but sometimes, more like every night, I want some m&ms or chocolate. I workout 5 days a week, but still, I need to break this...

I have a major sweet tooth also. We hardly ever have sweets unless someone brings them over. We get alot of sweets delivered at work, so that's when my barrier breaks. I'm trying really hard! I know once I quit this sweet tooth, I'll be on my way to losing pounds!

Fruit! Grapes or oranges may help satisfying it.

Craving for sugar could actually be a sign you are craving protein. Make sure your meals throughout the day are balanced. But yes drinking water also helps curb cravings. And step one is don't buy these things and you won't be able to eat them. Keep fruit in the house instead, good natural source of sugar without the added refined sugar

    Toss everything out.

Replace it with organic dark chocolate or even dark chocolate covered almonds. (Almonds are really good for you).

Eat one square (or 5 almonds) before or after dinner.

Both of these are good for you, in moderation.

It's better to satisfy your sweet tooth cravings this way, instead of depriving yourself for days and then breaking; binge eating a crap load of calories later on.
