Tips on Elopement in Santorini

I would say first find a well-known resort that you like and go from there. Try to find pictures, youtube videos/ youtube reviews. See if you can do a video call with the coordinator or planner working at the resort.

Another way to go about it is through AAA. They do have travel agents and offices, and will know to connect you with others in Santorini or other parts of Greece. AAA will also have travel insurance if in case travel (but not the wedding) falls through.

I know that this may sound mean, but be sure that to coordinator or planner knows English to a professional conversational level.

It is also worth looking at Travel Guide books such as Lonely Planet that can point you to resorts.

Hi Heidi! You can use WeddingWire's vendor search to find a few wedding vendors in Santorini as well!! I'd recommend hiring a well-reviewed wedding planner you can depend on, or starting with a vetted venue like Elly suggested!

Skype hasn't really been the main form of professional video chats for a good minute, and the type-os and grammatical errors do them no favors.


Wire fraud is so rampant these days. I would delete and block this quickly. I would only use vendors through Wedding Wire, The Knot, or AAA.

We spoke on What’s app for a phone call. Seemed very nice and had 100 reviews on wedding wire and when I asked for her to send the formal package and their prices, she said she would send it via email.
However, instead of a PDF I received a poorly formatted email. Which makes me question if some of the reviews on wedding wire are legit.
