Tmi... but bikini wax?

It hurt worse than labor. No shit. It was the worst pain I have ever fucking felt. I took ibuprofen and tylenol beforehand. I went to a European Wax Center. I followed all the tips. I'm never going back. I'll shave for life, thanks. I had to drink wine all day the rest of the day to tolerate it. I could barely fucking walk. Also, I was bleeding badly from the waxing. And it didn't even get all the hair. It looked embarrassingly awful. She only got patches. Worst experience of my life.

Brazilian fan here, I suggest going for a trial run a few months before the wedding for the first time to see how your skin reacts and then the hair has a chance to grow in again before you wax again. That way, you also know when your skin will calm down enough to be comfortable on your wedding day, and therefore you are able to plan the # of days prior to the big day to go get waxed again Do your homework, yelp, google, etc. Find a reputable salon with solid reviews, esp. on cleanliness and the technicians that work there. Take advil like 30 minutes before you go get waxed and always ask for the cream/lotion sample to put on after the wax! They are not that painful if done correctly and feel wonderful for much longer than shaving. Your FH would probably really appreciate it, and if you're going on your HM right away you should still have clean bikini lines through your vacation.

I got once a month and it is amazing!!! you can do a bikini full to start and work your way up..and I cosign European Wax Center is AMAZING!!!

Jumping in.... does anyone know of a place other than EWC? The closest one to me is a pinch over an hours drive away.

I have was certainly raw after my very first one- but not incapacitated. But the following ones were far better in terms of "recoup" time.
