I'm planning to wear undies with my Spanx. They're my something blue

I wore Spanx, and didn't wear undies with them.

Or, if you get the crotchless ones, and feel weird not wearing panties, you could put the panties over the spanks. It will be easier to pull the panties down than try to get the spanks off.

The spanks go high up, and if you have a low back bra or even a corset dress, it is going to make it Very difficult to get the spanks down and back up in place.

I wore underwear...spanx AND Shapewear. Yes...I'm nuts. I just went light on the liquids and actually didn't have to go potty until AFTER the reception...Thank goodness. On top of having a heavy dress it was VERY warm.

That is a great idea wearing panties over the spanx!!! My dress is a corset and I wondered how I was going to go to the bathroom because of how high up they go!

When I wear my spanx I wear underwear also. But I don't typically wear the super high ones, so no crotch hole. lol I think Haley C. had the best answer in that case if you feel so obliged to rock the panties.

Hmmm...I haven't given much thought about underwear for the big day. I keep going back and forth on wearing the spanx or not. I think it might get hot but I LOVE how it sucks me in. I seriously feel "thinner" with it on.

I plan to spanx and panties. FH told me to "go commando" but there is no way that's gonna happen!!!!

I honestly don't know how you girls can pee in your spanx! I swear I wore them one time and I felt like no matter how I held open that crotch hole that I was gona pee all over myself. I ended up just taking the damn things off and shoving them in my purse!

When I wear my Spanx, I don't wear undies with them. If you wear undies over the Spanx and your dress is tight, be careful of lines. That's part of the benefit of wearing just the Spanx, no lines that create bumps and lumps.

I don't wear undies with my Spanx. I see the little slit in the crotch as a nice welcome breeze I need because the rest of my body is being put into submission lol

Ya, like Lindsay said, I am wearing the Spanx for the lack of lines. My dress is super form fitting through the waist, hips, and thighs. I don't really need the sucking in, just the smoothing out.

Maybe I'll get a little loser ones so that they aren't impossible to take off. TMI again- but that will be the only thing under my dress (no bra, cups sewn in) so I don't have to worry about other layers getting in the way of getting them on and off....

Toni- thanks for the link- but my dress is backless, i have to find something that is pretty low all around.

and that doesn't need to hook onto a bra to stay up.

(this dress was 2 sized to big, mine will be even tighter in the butt area, and as ya'll can see, I have a big butt)

I wouldn't advise wearing the Spanx with panties. That is just too many things to have to pull down if you are drinking. You need to hold up your dress and pull those suckers down. It will require some assitance.

My biggest thrill of my wedding day was that I lost enough weight that last week that I got away with just control top pantyhose. I dreaded having to pee through the Spanx. I drink beer and you know you do only rent your beer. Oh, and I don't wear panties beneath my panty hose. That's why there are cotton crotches.

Carole- I've been thinking about just buying control top hose and cutting them off right above the knee. It would probably be a lot cheaper.

I wear spanx all the time because I a chunker... if you wear undies you will get the WORST wedgies ALL DAY LONG!!! and they're almost impossible to fix! I would go with no undies.

also if you cut the legs off of hose they will roll up on you and give you REALLY unflattering lines.

No spanx. Planning on wearing a corset set from Frederick's. Corsets have been around for years and have done the job for shape wear as far as I'm concerned. Aside from that, the ones that Frederick's has are so sexy too! I showed the sets to FH and he gave me more than two thumbs up!
