To Change or Hyphenate?

I'm changing my last name to his. More than just the traditional reasons for it. I already have it changed on a program at work. It feels so strange to have scroll so far down the list of names!

For my first marriage, I took his last name. I’ve since returned to my maiden name. But this time around, I’m hyphenating or moving my maiden name to my middle name. Still deciding on that. But, either way, I will definitely have my name somewhere. After divorcing and returning to my maiden name, I realized that my name is just as important to my identity as his name is to him. So I’m not completely giving it up.

I’m changing my last name to my husband’s. Way before I got married I always knew I would take my hubby’s. We just got married 2 weeks ago and I’m in the process of getting it changed (it’s a little complicated with the SS offices being closed).
