To charger plate or not?

So I have a question... I absolutely love the look of decorating our tables with charger plates and when I asked for them I didn't think much of price obviously I knew they would cost but I certainly did not think that 130 charger plates would cost a little over $1,100.00 !!!!! When my FH saw that...

So I have a question...

I absolutely love the look of decorating our tables with charger plates and when I asked for them I didn't think much of price obviously I knew they would cost but I certainly did not think that 130 charger plates would cost a little over $1,100.00 !!!!! When my FH saw that he of course immediately said get rid of them, then he mentioned purchasing them. If we buy them they would be between $400 - $500 only issue is what the heck will I do with them after?!

They are glass ones if anyone is wondering why the cost would be high. Thank you ladies for all the advice, I will continue doing more research. It's really something I can decide on last minute I guess.

We bought ours from another bride for $0.50. A couple of them had to be tossed, but most are in great shape. They're the ones you can find at Michael's so I figured if I needed more, I'd just run out and buy a few at full price.
