To cut or not to cut

I really have been wanting to cut my hair lately. I’ve had short hair and I miss it. I am getting married August 22nd, 2020. I would like to cut it a little longer than shoulder length. Here are reference photos of my hair now. Should I cut it or leave it?

It really depends on what you want to do with your hair for the wedding as to whether to cut it or not now. It also depends on the speed of your hair growth because some of it will grow back by the time you get married, however it may not be enough growth depending on what you want to do.

I would search pinterest for wedding hairstyles you like first. Make sure that the length isnt needed for your ideal wedding day hair, and if not I would say cut away. Hair grows, and change can feel good.

Length and thickness is really important for wedding hair (even updos). I don't think trimming a little is bad so it's healthy but I'd probably hold off on major haircuts until post wedding.

I wasn’t asking for encouragement I was asking for opinions if I did cut it.

I would leave it until after the wedding! It’s gorgeous.

I'd try to fix your hair first, you can always cut it later. I really damaged mine with some cheap hair-dye, it was a real disaster. Lanolin Oil helped me a lot, maybe you should try it out? It's difficult to wash it off, but the result can be seen pretty soon.

I'd decide on a wedding day hairstyle before cutting your hair. I ended up having a haircut done by my wedding HMUA just so she could learn my hair and recommend the right length cut to keep my hair healthy but have enough for the hairstyle I envisioned.

These will look much better with longer hair due to the thickness. All of these models likely have long hair! Wait until after August and then celebrate as a shorter haired married lady!

I agree keep it long till after the wedding and cut after. Maybe you can cut it before going on honey moon and rock that cut!
