To-Go Station

Deanna, on July 29, 2017 at 6:55 PM Posted in Community Conversations 0 11

I'd like to do a hot pretzel and churro to go station at my wedding. The venue's price to do so is absolutely absurd. Does anyone know of a place I can purchase from in the New York l/Long Island area?

Will your venue allow outside food?

    If so, I recommend Conrad's.

Agree with Delfina, they might not let you do that. I also think its a little not necesasary, between cocktail hour, dinner and drinks. I am usually OVERflowing with food.

BUt I do love me some pretzels and churro. SOrry I am no help lol.

My only concern is that if you go to an outside company, they may not be hot and fresh.

    Stale pretzels are the worst.

How much is the venue charging?

Are you having an after party? Maybe you could serve them there?

I have no advice or suggestions of vendors...just here to agree with @HisBeauty that churros are LIFE. <3

If the price is absurd, skip it. By the end of a wedding I am always stuffed and usually it pains me to ear the late night to-go food.

Thank you everyone. The venue wants $10 plus 20% and sales tax per person. It's crazy. Other places offer a full station with pretzels, churros, zeppoles, popcorn and cotton candy for $8 a person.

Sorry I don't have any suggestions, but that is a bit much.
