Me and my future husband were talking about some things and then I asked him does he just want to repeat after the officiant wedding vows. Because I know how nervous about some things that he can get,but he surprised me and say that he may write his vows to me. And he ask me to so I said that I will...

Because I know how nervous about some things that he can get,but he surprised me and say that he may write his vows to me. And he ask me to so I said that I will just too our children think that we will be. To nervous and emotional on our wedding day. So my question is are you going to write your vows or have your officiant recite them too you.

So far we are just planning to go with the officiant led vows. It may be too much to do anything more during the ceremony. I was thinking of writing out my own additional commitment to share later on that evening or the next day. I just do not need to do this in the ceremony. Maybe I'll mention this idea to my fiancé but so far it is just my thought.

Hi Michael it's ok either way if you still wanted to do it during before the officiant recited the vows and then you wanted to add after is ok too. And even if you write them and gi e too him to read privately is fina as well. Really it's all about the moment you feel this way now but maybe you changed your mind. It's just to make your day meaningful for the both of you too look back or for a anniversary. It's right way or wrong. That's ok too and see all tho I said that I want to write mines and he write his on that day it we may change our minds. We will just go with the flow just enjoy your wonderful day with your new husband ❤

I see it as a little step to make a better foundation for our marriage. It also is something to look back on when life gets a little rough and our relationship a little turbulent. I get can my bearings again.

Does your officiant provide you with the vows beforehand or only at the ceremony? Are you expecting one which we could almost say from memory because the ideas are so common?

I'm sure that she will haven't it we are going to try and say ours vows to each first. If not then we will repeat after her when she gets to the part "DO YOU Take" and the rest that she say TO DEATH DO US APART
