@Jackie I can't see the images. And since 25K is 5K over our entire wedding budget, I will move on.

I would also suggest Mori Lee. Mori Lee has lots of beautiful detail and beading. My Mori Lee is below:

I agree. Start with specific sites like David's Bridal and Alfred Angelo. You can mark the type of styles you like- even if not the specific dresses. You also know those will be more in an acceptable price range.

And if you're going for vintage with a pink and mocha- I'd look at lace on the gowns. Maybe in an ivory instead of white (but that means ivory everything else for the wedding too).

But since I'm already going into bitch mode- are you sure you want a pink and mocha color scheme? That just screams OLD and outdated, not vintage. You're 41! You're not dying...

Ouch! They're being mean, haha. But I do agree that it's a bit much for anyone, not just 40-year-olds; then again, I've never been a fan of Pnina. Hey, based on what you seem to like from this gown, you like the crystals and the details, right? I'm only 18, but may I suggest looking at some 1940s/1950s gowns from Dior? They had some seriously beautiful stuff, and it does have the lace, the crystals, some of the revealing stuff, and a vintage vibe. I included pictures of two of my favorite Dior gowns from that time below.

If you want ideas or just to drool over some really nice gowns, try theFROCK.com - it's a really nice online vintage/antique botique with tons and tons of offerings. The images with the pink box came off of that site.

But remember! It's YOUR wedding. It's about you. Wear what you want, and don't even worry about what the hens in the corner gossip about. -smile- Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!

Edit: Added a mermaid/trumpet style Valentino.

What are you looking for a in a dress? Strapless? Princessy? Beading? Elegant?

The one you posted is blingy, with a bolero. Are you looking to cover up a bit more?

Give us something to work with- and I'm sure we can find plenty you would like.

I wanted it to be rose colored and vintage. I like the bolero look or cap sleeves. I am not ashamed of my figure so that's not an issue. Ix-nay on the poofy and no pick ups.

I'm sure you can find a rose-colored gown somewhere - but if you can't, would it be alright if it were more gold or ivory?

Ix-nay on poof/pickup - what about something a little bit like this?

Edit: I added an image for the front. The web URL for this exact gown is: http://www.1stdresses.com/mermaid-vintage-wedding-dresses-lace-shoulder-wrap-p-627.htm
