Too sexy for church wedding? Dress pic

So, would you judge me if you saw this at a Catholic wedding mass? I love how it makes me look.

Hi all, thanks for the input. Front is not racy at all. I will wear a veil and also check with our priest. I doubt he will have an issue with it. I was more concerned about the judgment of old fashioned attendees. But I think with a veil, I should be OK.

I'm not sure yet if I will buy this gown, but I want something very similar if not this exact dress. Yes, it is from DB. They told me it was brand new from Melissa sweet and I was the first one to try it on!

Here's the tag if anyone is interested to look the gown up. I loved it except for the two layers in the front of the skirt that look a bit like lace curtains.

My dress is a complete open back with no illusion and thin spaghetti straps. I was afraid it might be too revealing for the church as well but when I tried the veil on with it it's covering a lot more then I thought! So I'm not changing anything! this sounds bad but it's not like they're going to tell you to leave as you're walking down the aisle.

Very pretty! I know the only thing most Catholic Churches disapprove of are sleeveless dresses and since you have sleeves, you're fine!

Mine was similar, but more open (no shoulder piece or buttons) and I wore it at my catholic wedding a couple of weeks ago.

Looks beautiful! My friend had a total open low back for her mass, with a veil. Yours is definitely appropriate.

Im getting married in a Catholic Church too and I think it should be just fine. Your shoulders are covered, your back is technically covered because it's an illusion back, and especially with a veil it will be just fine. It's tasteful and I don't think it will be deemed "too sexy" at all. The only times I think gowns are too sexy/revealing for church weddings are when they are super low cut with major cleavage or when they look like lingerie with a skirt. You are fine!

Absolutely beautiful!! I agree with the others I think it will be fine and especially if you are wearing a veil! As long as your boobs aren't hanging out lol but I am catholic and plan on a Catholic Church wedding and I am hoping to find a dress with similar style. Things aren't as strict as they use to be I know people wear strapless and everything in the church now so I wouldn't worry too much

That depends on your church. My church would not allow the open back. If you're worried about it, ask your officiant.

If I was getting married in the church I was raised in, I would not wear that dress. In my current church, it would be ok. It just depends on the church. If your questioning it, it is probably not ok and will make you feel self concision on your wedding day. But as mentioned above a veil could completely change the look!
