Venue (we even added for additional amenities) , my dress , and our photographer/videographer. Everything else we have managed to keep within our budget. If we are able to save more on one vendor, then we will splurge a little more on another.

Our big splurge is having a high guest count, which obviously shows up in all different costs along the way

Venue, photographer, and floral are high on my priorities making them the higher priced items on the budget. My dress, shoes, and veil collectively cost about $400.

Venue is a must - didn't want to get married in some tacky banquet hall with ACT ceilings (gross)

Photographer - Bad photography and bad memories of your best day is just overall bad, both my fiance and I were super picky about our photographer and were willing to pay travel fees for the one we got.

Catering - Good food is a must! Well at least for us. We already knew an open bar was required since we're going 21+ only, but we also wanted good food. This doesn't have to mean expensive - but it's worth spending extra for to have.

Everything else is pretty DIY for us. I'm making my own dress since I want a green one, I told my bridesmaids a color and they pick the dress, cake is by my mother (she used to make wedding cakes) etc.

If I had a bonus it'd be the ring.

For us it's the simple things that matter like we are catering ourselves but we are going all out and ordering a custom cake, we are getting our honeymoon as a wedding gift from my family, but I made all the wedding party glasses, parents glasses and even a glass for our officiant myself.

    Catering, Photographer, Honeymoon.

There is nothing worse than going to an event hungry...and then being completely dissatisfied with the meal. We love food and want to have a delicious culinary experience on our day.

Pictures are vital because there's no repeating your special day. We want to know we're in good hands and our memories will be well taken care of.

Honeymoon is all about us. I believe my new husband and I deserve to treat ourselves after the pressures that come with wedding planning. And what a wonderful way to start off our lives together with a honeymoon to remember.

Photography, music and rentals. However, were getting married at his parents bc its beautiful, secluded aand on the water and they just surprised us and told us they are paying for catering, otherwise venue and food would have made the list.
