Torn between a White or Ivory Wedding Dress for Beach Wedding

Hey! I'm having a beach wedding and have an Ivory dress, but only because Ivory looks better on my pale self I would choose which one you feel best in!

I like white wedding dresses more than ivory dresses but, that's just my opinion.

My FMIL wore an ivory dress for her wedding because she had a child before her wedding and she thought it was wrong to wear white in a church wedding.

I just prefer white a little more!

IVORY only because Im biased and wearing it. But it doesn't matter any color would be nice depending on the style of the dress.

I would go with which ever color best compliments your skin tone. I had the choice to order my dress in either color and I chose the ivory becuase I am ghost white. I really liked the white look better but it didn't look the best on me. My ivory dress is not the yellow ivory, by looking at it you most likely would not be able to tell it was not pure white.

I've seen both at the beach. I really think this is a question only YOU should answer. Which do you love best, look best in, feel best in? Go with that one. And remember if there are differences in the dress style, silhouette, fabric, most dresses can be ordered in both colors.

Thanks for all the comments everyone! Here are pics of my 2 dresses, hard to tell in the photos at the shop but the one with me in veil is the white one.

Wendy, you look beautiful in both of the gowns. For some reason the gown with the veil looks a little more like the beach to me, but either gown would work as far as I am concerned. As others have said, pick the one that you feel flatters you the most. I am also getting married on the beach and my gown is a blush color, not really pink, but more of a pinky beige.

I love the one on the left, but I may be bias because mine is similar! So beautiful!

They are both really pretty and you look amazing in them! If I HAVE to pick I think I like the ivory slightly more, but would worry about satin being too hot on the beach,

THE WHITE ONE. For sure, looks better on you. The other one is pretty too, but I feel like the way it's cut it's more modern art museum wedding style.

Why not wear both? The white for the wedding and the ivory for the reception?

you could get the most out of both of them and weird everyone out at the rehearsal!

I hate to be the one that isn't like "omg get whatever you love". Butttt I have heard that white white dresses will look blueish outside. Especially in pictures. If you were inside, I would say do either, but outside, I would stick with ivory.

Both dresses look gorgeous on you. I think the one on the left would be beautiful for a beach wedding. You really can't go wrong with either one though.

I think I'm the only person in the world that can't see the difference between white and ivory in pics. The one on the left gets my vote for a beach wedding.

Not going based off color at all, i think the left one is more flattering on you. But I'm with @OhHeyItsIna - why don't you wear both?

I can't really tell the difference in colour with those pics, but I definitely like the one of the left (white one) better for a beach wedding. I love how it flows out from the thighs instead of having a defined seam where the bottom starts.

I love both those gowns, especially on YOU. I live on the beach and see beach weddings on the daily. The only dresses that seem odd to me are the ball gowns or the big formal dresses with lots going on. Beaches are typically casual wedding settings so I personally would choose the one I feel more casual in BUT again it is YOUR wedding and whatever you feel beautiful in
