Start by determining a budget with your partner and go from there. Determine an estimated guest count, options of where you'd like your venue, & a date. Then start looking for vendors.

Oh wow that's only 3 months to go. If you haven't started anything then that'll be really stressful and it may even be hard trying to find vendors this close as well as a dress. Do you have an estimate guest count?

Hello ! You don't really have much time... Try to establish your budget, and contact the vendors if they are available.

Establish a guest list, budget and then find your venue ASAP, November is really soon, and you'll have to be on top of it to get everything booked in time.

    Congratulations!
Pinterest has wedding planning time lines. I bought The Knot wedding planner from Barnes and noble and downloaded the app for it, too. They all give good examples of where to start. I'm about 9 months into planning, so I don't really remember the first few tasks, but I found it really helpful to have the to do list from Pinterest.

If you're aiming for November of this year, then keep in mind your options for venues and vendors might be limited, so I would start by determining your budget and then make a preliminary guest count. Then, figure out where your priorities are. If your guest list is the TOP priority, but there are no venues available for November, you might need to rethink. If you'd rather have the date, then be prepared to mercilessly cut the guest list if needed.

    Hi there,

Start with your budget! Once you figure out how much you can realistically afford everything else will fall into place.

    Goodluck!

First off Congratulations! Second ~ Take a deep breath!

There is a "check-list" feature on this and other websites. As others have said figure out your budget! Then from there get some ideas of what you would want vs feel like you HAVE to have (prioritize your "needs/wants")... For example do you want a "back-yard" or park wedding OR are you wanting a big blow out party... Start looking for some vendors in your local area (or where you want to get married) some will offer packages which will include things like: officiant, photography, etc. For a November wedding this year you may have to be VERY flexible with your date (think a week day or Sunday rather than Friday or Saturday afternoon/evening). One of the first things you will need to consider after or possibly before your venue is your dress ~ they can take several months to a year for a designer or special order dress (in some cases it could take a couple weeks to a month for alternations alone).

Again congratulations! Good Luck & Happy planning!
