Traditions to cut

I'm a pretty non-traditional person and am enjoying finding my own way to do this wedding. Could use some inspiration though. We are having a small outdoor ceremony officiated by my female friend (not super unique I know but my family may lose it) and I'm walking myself down the aisle for several reasons.

What are some fun ways y'all have broken wedding "traditions?"

We’re still in super early planning stages but we’ve decide my step father is getting ordained to marry us, no mother/son or dad/daughter dances, no bouquet toss or gaurder thing, no unity thing during ceremony, probably no speeches, possibly no first dance. FH didn’t even want to do a ceremony/reception because he has bad social anxiety, so we are trying to cut out as much of the “look at us” stuff as we can, or anything he feels is only there to “put on a show” for other people.

He he also wants to do a planned send off from the reception, not the ceremony, so we(he) can leave right before it’s over (10:15 when over at 1030) without it being rude haha.

I'd like to skip out on the bouquet and garter stuff. Heck I don't even want an audience to cut the cake because I absolutely do not want to be shoving cake into each others faces. I tried nixing a cake altogether because my venue has an off the side desserts room and I felt a cake on top of it was unnecessary but it comes with the package we chose so we get a cake too.
