Transportation ideas

Amina, on August 27, 2019 at 10:50 AM Posted in Pennsylvania Planning 0 3
So my fiancé wants to get ready at our house the day of the wedding and move to the venue when it’s time. Only problem is, it’s him, 11 groomsmen, 3 ushers, and his dad that would need transportation. We live 40 min from the venue and i’ve been looking at party busses to get them but they mostly only do 3 hour minimum rentals and we would only really need it to get them to the venue as everything is all at the same location. Anyone in philly have any companies they suggest or any ideas of how to get 16 guys from Manayunk to Feasterville (5 min from Parx Casino) in January??

Honestly I would charter a school bus. Not as cool, but they’re cheaper than a party bus, more comfortable than trolleys, and you can prob afford to charter them for longer than 3 hours.

    Hey Amina!

Have you looked into the pricing of a mini bus as transportation? As Megan mentioned, it may not be as glamorous as a party bus but would certainly be cheaper.

You could also compare this price quote with a taxi service/Uber. This may be cheaper than having to hire a bus for hours longer than you actually need them for.

I've heard of someone renting a bus, like a yellow school bus, for transportation for their bridal party. It's worth looking in to!
