Transportation-uber/lyft for a Wedding?

I have been researching transportation options, and some of them are just plain pricy. We paid $1200 bucks for both venues, so $625 for seven hours would be reasonable if this weren’t a budget wedding.

I was thinking that Uber SUV could be a good option to come back after the reception is over but taking a limo there might be cool. It’s such a short ride, and I don’t want to pay for time I’m not actually in the limo. Ideas?

I believe limos have a minimum time that you have to book for and you can’t split it up. So I would get an Uber if I were you.

Yes, limos do have a minimum number of hours you have to book them for, so if all you need is a ride to the reception from the ceremony venue, not a good value at all. But both Uber and Lyft are reasonable (at least in my area) for that kind of short term transpo. If you are looking to transport guests also, then you can call about their SUV/MiniVan rates. It will still be cheaper than a limo, because there is no minimum booking. Just whatever it costs to go that many miles.

I was an Uber and lyft bride! Saved so much money to use that for my bridal party. 😊

This is just me personally, but I think I would like a super luxurious SUV to take us from the reception rather than a limo.

Sorry for the delay, but thank you ladies. I’m married now, and my mom chauffeured is to the reception venue. It worked out fine. There was so much I wanted to go my way, but I found by letting things flow.... it made enjoying my party that much better.
