Tree Rental

Amy & Dan, on December 5, 2014 at 6:52 PM Posted in Community Conversations 1 13

My wedding is taking place in Tampa, FL and am trying to find a place for tree/plant rental. Does anyone know where to find trees to rent for decor purposes? Silk or real. I am looking for tall (10ft ) flowering trees...wisteria, cherry blossom, etc, and I cannot find them anywhere. I have tried florists, but the only thing I am finding is palm rentals. Help? Here is a picture of the type I am looking for:

That is gorgeous. Have you tried A1? Or Estelas?

Look for plant or tree rentals instead of florists, or wedding party rentals

Thanks, Val! I was also searching plant rental companies along with florists, but couldn't really find anything. I will check those places out!

That is gorgeous. I would call some local nurseries and maybe they will rent, or if you have a trade show pavilion, I know that when we have shows in other states that other booths had rented smaller trees and bushes for their booths. Might be worth a try. Good luck!

Hi Amy, are the trees in the picture real? They could be silk. When we were tossing up design ideas I found lots of event planning/hire places had fake trees for hire.

I thought the same thing as stitchingbride hahaha. I'm no help, but that is lovely. my venue actually recently renovated and removed their old school gazebo and replaced it with 2 big black trees with white leaves. I love the look.

Stitching Bride, that's a real thing!

OP, this nursery advertises that they now do rentals for weddings and events... might be worth a call? Also, like someone else mentioned, try looking more into event designers/planners who do large scale things like conventions. Good luck, that's a beautiful vision!

Those trees usually bloom in the spring and you're getting married in the fall.

I think you'll have to go with artificial trees.
